The Punjab Land Records Authority, in collaboration with the Board of Revenue, Government of Punjab, has introduced electronic registration for the preservation and facilitation of landowner records across Punjab.
E-Registration Steps:
- obtaining challan through E-Stamp Web Portal
- Payment of prescribed fees at the Bank of Punjab
- Inclusion of buyer and seller details in the record
- Submission of statements and affidavits in front of the sub-registrar (Tehsildar)
- Biometric verification of Seller, Buyer And Witnesses in front of sub-registrar (Tehsildar)
- Copy of Passed Registry
