7. . The candidate must have passed obtaining minimum 60% marks in Higher Secondary School Certificate or FSc (Pre-Medical) 12th grade or equivalent qualification from any BISE in Pakistan or abroad.
8. The candidates who have passed the Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2023 with minimum 55% marks for MBBS and 50% marks for BDS.

Candidates of all provinces are eligible to apply. Note: For admission to private sector medical and dental colleges, candidates having domicile of any district of Pakistan can apply. However, as per Section 17(4) of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Act 2022, preference shall be given in admissions to candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It may, therefore, be noted that Domicile is a mandatory document for candidates. Any other document such as an identity card, B-form, passport, or birth certificate will not substitute for the Domicile. MERIT CRITERIA AS PER PM&DC The weightage criteria for calculation of Aggregate Percentage shall be as follows: Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent =10% Intermediate Pre-Medical / (HSSC) or equivalent =40% Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) =50% Note: Detail of the formula with examples is available on KMU admissions website http://cas.kmu.edu.pk.

HOW TO APPLY:

KMU has become now totally paperless and hard copies of application form through postal /courier are riot acceptable

.Therefore, the candidates shall have to apply online at KMU admissions website (http://cas.kmu.edu.pk)as per following steps/procedure:

1.  Visit http://cas.kmu Follow on screen edu.pk and click create account. instructions to complete the process.
2. ‘‘Enter your details and select category of seats for which you are eligible (Open Merit and Foreign Self Finance seats etc.) you want to apply for Separate admission form along with fee shall be submitted for MBBS and BDS.
3.  Upload readable scanned copies of relevant documents.
4.  Generate Fee slip(s) for Open merit and Foreign Self Finance Seats and print it. Visit any branch of Bank of Khyber and deposit application processing fee (Non-Refundable/Non-Transferable) for MBBS and for BIDS separately. Separate admission form along with fee shall be submitted for MBBS and BDS.
5.  Login again to verify your payment details and submit application. Note: Keep your original Fee slip, to be produced as evidence during admission process.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

• Incomplete/deficient application forms shall not be entertained.
• No admission forms will be accepted by hand or through mail/courier.
• Applicant shall list college(s) for admission in order of priority in the designated fields provided in the online form.
• Applicants selected for any category shall have to deposit their fee after receiving the admission offer letter within three (03) working days in KMU account failing which the next applicant on the merit list will be offered admission to facilitate timely completion of admission process.
• KMU shall make admissions on Open Merit seats and Foreign Self Finance Seats only
• Any candidate found to have submitted forged certificates or fake documents/information at any stage of admission shall be debarred from admission to any medical/dental institution under the rules. The admission of the candidate will stand CANCELLED.
• If any point is not clear regarding admission process in the advertisement, then the KMU Admission Policy and PIV & DC Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct) Regulations 2023 will be consulted for final decision.
• No separate call letters will be issued for interview/placement till placement of candidates from 3rd merit list. All such information will he available on the official website, Facebook page of KM.0 (http://cas.kmu.eciu.pk) till the completion of admission process.
