Position / Job Title: Divisional Head Special Assets Management Division South (SVP / EVP)
Reporting to: Group Head — Special Assets Management Group
Educational / Professional Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
- Candidates having a Master’s degree and/or any other relevant professional qualification will be preferred
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience, out of which 10 years in banking.
- Candidate must have 3 years’ experience in a senior role in Remedial Risk and/or Recovery
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
- Superior credit risk assessment skills and judgment
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal documentation associated with credit/market risk
- Fully conversant with relevant policy and regulatory guidelines on credit and recovery
- Strong leadership skills, comprehensive understanding of financial and legal matters
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure
- Ability to clearly and proactively communicate to both internal and external clients
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
- Handle the rehabilitation/restructuring of classified loans and recovery of defaulted NPLs
- Develop and implement strategic plans for asset recovery
- Oversee a team of professionals engaged in asset recovery
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of distressed assets
- Assess the value of distressed assets and formulate recovery strategies
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements during the asset recovery process
- Negotiate with defaulting parties to reach settlements that maximize recovery value
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication
- Maintain accurate documentation of all asset recovery activities
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with the recovery process
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking progress
- Identify areas of improvement in the asset recovery process
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in asset recovery
- Perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type The employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, renewable at the discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy/rules.
