CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited for the following contract posts to be filled in the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority under the e-Procurement Project titled “E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal (EPADS) System” on a contract basis as per the following details. All intending candidates are required to submit online applications through the National Job Portal (NJP) website: https://njp.gov.pk & www.ppra.org.pk.

01 Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree with 16 years of education in Information Technology/Information System/ Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Engineering or related discipline from HEC recognized institution or from a reputed foreign university
• Proven Experience as a CTO/CEO or project manager/project director or similar leadership role in IT (Minimum 5 Years required)
• Proven Experience in Public Sector Organizations in Leadership Roles for delivering large-scale projects with national/provincial level scale, scope & revenue & financial impact (Minimum 5 Years Required)
• Status: Contract Basis
• Age Limit: Maximum 55 Years As Per CNIC

02 Chief Software Specialist (CSS)

• MS Computer Science from a recognized and well-reputed university with a background of four (04) years professional degree either in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 10 years of rich experience in the field of Software Development, out of which at least five (05) years shall be of Public Sector for Design, Development, Installation, and Commissioning of Large Scale Enterprise Software Systems, MS Degree from the University of developed country along with a thorough understanding of Procurement Management and IEEE Standards shall be treated as an asset.
• Status: On Contract Basis
• Age Limit: Maximum 55 Years As Per CNIC

03 IT Assistant

• 05
• Second Class or Grade C Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university by HEC.
• The selected candidates shall have to undertake a 06 weeks diploma in IT Basic Training Course including MS Office conducted by NITB within one year.
• Status: On Contract Basis
• Age Limit: 18-28 Years

04 IT Technician

• 03
• Intermediate from a recognized institute
• Minimum 6 Months Diploma in IT
• Must be computer literate
• Status: On Contract Basis
• Age Limit: 18-25 Years

05 Naib Qasid

• 03
• Primary Pass.
• Locals from Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
• Status: On Contract Basis
• Age Limit: 18-25 Years

06 Sweeper

• 02
• Local from Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
• Status: On Contract Basis
• Age Limit: 18-25 Years

General Terms and Conditions:

1. The eligible candidates are advised to apply online through the National Job Portal (NJP) Link https://njp.gov.pk. Candidates applying for more than one post should apply online separately for that post. Applications received in the Authority through hard form shall not be entertained.
2. All the candidates applying for the above-mentioned posts shall be entitled to an upper age relaxation as per Federal Government Rules. Age will be counted up to the closing date fixed for the receipt of the application.
3. In-service government employees should apply through the proper channel.
4. Information provided while applying online will be verified. In case of any false or forged information, PPRA reserves the rights to cancel the candidature of any person at any stage (even after employment, if so revealed later) and to initiate legal action against the applicant.
5. Candidates interested in applying for positions listed at Sr. No. 3 and 4 have the option to submit their applications through hard copy. They should download the application form from www.ppra.org.pk. Additionally, applications can be submitted through the National Job Portal.
6. Candidates interested in applying for the positions listed at Sr. No. 5, & 6 are required to submit their documents along with a job application and complete documents (CNIC, Domicile, and relevant credentials) to the office of the undersigned.
7. No TA/DA will be admissible for Test/Interview.
8. The deadline for applying online is 31st December 2023.
