ADMISSIONS IN MBBS
Session 2023-2024 : Only for GIRLS
Applications are invited exclusively from GIRL STUDENTS for admissions in the 1st Year MBBS Academic Session 2023-24, under the categories of OPEN MERIT, DISABLED & SELF-FINANCE (UDP).
ACTIVITY DATE:
- Application Start Date: TUE 12th December, 2023 (at 9:00 am)
- Closing Date: WED 20th December, 2023 (at 4:00 pm)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- The applicant must have PRC/Domicile of Tagged District of PUMHSW (See Prospectus).
- The applicant must have passed Intermediate/HSSC or F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) Group or Equivalent Examination with a minimum of 60% percent marks.
- As per PM&DC Regulations; MDCAT 2023 with a pass percentage for admissions in MBBS is 55%.
- Candidates shall be required to fulfill additional eligibility requirements for various categories of seats as given in the Prospectus.
- All admissions shall be provided in accordance with the allocation of seats purely on MERIT basis reflected in the Prospectus 2023-24 of Health Department Government of Sindh.
- Any candidate applying on the Self-Finance Category shall submit a Pay Order/Demand Draft of Rs. 616,000/- (Rupees Six Hundred & Sixteen Thousand Only) in favor of “VICE CHANCELLOR, PUMHSW”, Nawabshah (Shaheed Benazirabad) before the closing date and MUST attach the following documents with the application form:
(a) Print Copy of MDCAT 2023 Score Result.
(b) Attested Photostat Copies of all required documents, mentioned in Prospectus.
(c) Original Pay Order/Demand Draft.
NOTES:
- Application Form is available at the Official Website: www.pumhs.edu.pk.
- It is MANDATORY for the applicants to fill application forms ONLINE, print the same, and submit to the Admissions Department, PUMHSW (SBA) by courier along with attached photocopies of required documents.
- Every candidate must deposit an Application Processing Fee of Rs. 1,000/- (One Thousand) Non-Refundable, in A/C No: 1439-79014003-03 titled “PUMHSW Online Students Receipts Account” Habib Bank Limited (HBL) and attach the Bank Challan of this deposit with the Application Form.
- Application forms received without required documents and/or received after the closing date shall NOT be ACCEPTED and ENTERTAINED.
- Candidates who have any grievances/objections with MDCAT result will have to resolve their issues from DUNS, Karachi, before the closing date of admission.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Any candidate found to have submitted FORGED/FAKE/FABRICATED documents or incorrect/false information shall be DEBARRED from admission.
- Candidates are advised to enter their correct and active cell number & email in their applications.
- Applications which are INCOMPLETE in any manner or those received after the due date shall be rejected. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to submit a complete application as per the instruction given in the Prospectus.
- After the last date of submission of application, any results, revised result cards, increase in marks by boards/universities, or for that matter any other document, shall NOT be acceptable.
- Candidates having foreign qualifications such as A/O Level, etc., shall have to upload the Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC; otherwise, their applications shall be REJECTED.
- No receipts of documents, under process of preparation (e.g., PRC/Domicile Equivalence, etc.) shall be acceptable.
